Addendum: Honorable mention to Ex-Boyfriends for their excellent debut album, " Dear John," which I had in 2005, but left off the 2005 chart because it was officially released by Absolutely Kosher Records in early 2006, but then when I was putting together my year-end lists some part of my brain lumped " Dear John" back in with 2005, hence the omission. My sincerest apologies for the oversight. As anyone who listened to the station this year (or came to half the shows I put on!) knows, I love that band. The song " Him For Me" definitely deserves to be amongst the top overall songs listed above, and the album is a collection of pop gems that invariably makes me pogo at their shows. While I'm sure I omitted other worthy bands/song/albums, this one could not be allowed to stand uncorrected.
