"480 Minutes"- new Rogue Wave, Archie Bronson Outfit
Another huge stack of excellent submissions this week means another
480 Minutes chock full of brand new, never before heard on BAGeL Radio songs. On top of that, this week it's
Noise Pop, the annual San Francisco indie music festival that has opened our ears to much great music over the years.
Getting back to the aforementioned new songs, today 480 Minutes will debut music by from 60 Watt Kid (San Francisco, CA), A Sunny Day in Glasgow (Philadelphia, PA),
Please tune in today and every Friday to 480 Minutes between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific Time. If some weeks the live broadcast time doesn't work for you, the show is rebroadcast on Friday nights and then twice on Saturday, so you can get your fix then.
So far we've seen Mist And Mast, Love Is Chemicals, Rogue Wave, Man/Miracle, Princeton, and Two Sheds. Looking forward to We Were Promised Jetpacks with Bear hands tomorrow (Saturday, 2/27) at Slim's. Next week
The Rumble (the monthly indie rock night I host/DJ at Cafe du Nord) doubles as The Official Noise Pop Hangover Party and will feature live performances by
Lilofee (San Francisco, CA),
Twin Tigers (Athens, GA), and
Stripmall Architecture (SF, CA).
