“480 Minutes” -King For A Day

Yesterday was the 4th of July, “Indepence Day,” which is when the U.S. celebrates its independence from the monarchy of Ye Olde England. The celebrations this year seem a bit muted for people who pay attention to the news & have some understanding of what the Supremely Corrupt Court has been up to this term, including last week giving the convicted criminal/Republican nominee for president a stack of Monopoly “get out of jail free!” cards. In the process they gave themselves sole power to determine what a president can be held accountable for, which they will obviously be fair & balanced about regardless of which party holds the White House (not!). In the case of *their boy attempting a coup against the government of the U.S. their ruling suggests that ignoring the Constitution & subverting the will of voters was somehow within his official duties as president. Thus ruling would essentially make Convict Trump a monarch-to-be if he manages to overcome his almost unbelievably poor record as president which included botching the COVID response, undermining NATO, fellating his pal Vlad on live TV while throwing the U.S. intelligence community under a bus, & finally the aforementioned clown coup attempt. (*Felonius Trump appointed 3 of SC justices & each of them were selected from the same list as the other members of the “precedent schmecedent” super-majority).
