This week the U.S. Supreme Court made it easier to open carry weapons of war by preventing states from regulating the practice of being a danger to society. Next week the Supreme Court is expected to undo 50 years of legal precedent by overturning the legal underpinnings for abortion, allowing states to force anyone who gets pregnant to carry the cluster of cells to term & give birth. They will then block funding that would help those unwanted but, you know, “sacred” clusters of cells grow up, be healthy, be educated in science, math, civics, & the arts. Without those opportunities many will grow up without the ability to think critically, be extremely susceptible to believing fairy tales, & thus likely to be a danger to society. It all makes sense, really.

In more pleasant news, this week the wound vac attached to my surgical wound worked so well that it stopped working so I removed it which was terrifying but it did allow me to shower for the first time since my surgery & that…was…fucking…glorious! I was so happy that I had a giggle fit mid-shower.
