"480 Minutes" - Happy Halloween!

Today "480 Minutes" returns with tons of new music plus a ticket giveaway. We have pairs of free tickets to go see the brand spanking new Flaming Lips movie, Christmas On Mars, at the Roxie Theater on 16th Street in San Francisco. The movie opens tonight with daily showings at 7pm and 9pm, along with weekend matinees at 3pm and 5pm. Recommended if you like: The Flaming Lips, copious amounts of marijuana, silliness, sci-fi, hallucinogens, eating dinner in the Mission.

In other news, Cory Brown is returning to BAGeL Radio. It's true, the loveable and talented macher behind Absolutely Kosher and Misra Records will be back with a show every Tuesday from 11a.m.-2p.m. Pacific Time. Make sure to tune in for Cory on Tuesdays from 11-1 and/or from 10p.m.-12 midnight each Tuesday.

One more thing before we get to the music -- our friends at SonicLiving are giving away a gift card from Live Nation to a lucky winner who uploads a photo of themselves wearing an "I Voted!" sticker. The gift card will be good for any Live Nation show in the U.S. Details can be found here.

New music today from Cold War Kids (Long Beach, CA), Gangi (Los Angeles, CA), Crystal Stilts (Brooklyn, NY), Boy Eats Drum Machine (Portland, OR), Lukestar (Oslo, Sweden), School Of Seven Bells (Brooklyn, NY), 18th Dye (Berlin, Germany), Joel Plaskett Emergency (Halifax, CA), Bambara (Athens, GA), O'Death (New York, NY), ohGr (Los Angeles, CA), Michael Zapruder (Oakland, CA), Fight Bite (Denton, TX), The End Of The World (Brooklyn, NY), Glasvegas (Glasgow, Scotland), The Hush Now (Boston, MA), The Kindness Kind (Seattle, WA), The Dead Trees (Portland, OR), Ryan Auffenberg (San Francisco, CA), Jay Reatard (Memphis, TN), The Organ (Toronto, Canada), Coolie Pool (Boston, MA), +/- (Plus/Minus) (Brooklyn, NY), and The Cure (London, England).
