Monotonix Finally Suffer Injury

Having seen chaotic Tel Aviv band Monotonix perform on more than one occassion (I took the photo to the left at a Monotonix show at CMJ in NY in 2008), it is shocking that they have never seriously injured themselves while performing. The first time I saw them was at the Jackalope at SXSW in Austin in 2007, and that was the first time since the 1980s that I felt in danger of physical injury at a gig.

It was awesome.

Well, singer Ami Shalev finally broke Monotonix string of "Days Without An Accident" when he broke his leg at a show in West Palm Beach, FL. last week.
