"480 Minutes" - New My Bloody Valentine

BAGeL Radio turned 10 years old and the world did not end...despite our debauched celebration a week ago today.  I was sure the cupcakes were going to put us over the top, but it seems not even hateful shitheads of the cloth who clearly do not get the meaning of the phrase, "God loves all His children," are incapable of invoking the end of the world.

Thanks to SomaFM for presenting the event, Mister Loveless, CHURCHES, and Birdmonster for bringing the rock, Paul Thomas for doing such a great job on sound that I don't recall a single musician asking "Hey, can I get some more [this or that] in my monitor?", to Ramona and Kathleen and everyone at Bottom of the Hill for hosting the event (and for making BoTH my second home), to Jodie for bringing (and flinging) bagels, and to everyone for coming out to support local music (especially those who came in from far-flung places like New York and Boston!) and for making your humble narrator feel very, very special.
