Planned Rerun (Mondo Music Festival and Conference)

Instead of hosting a new 480 Minutes episode today, I will miss my 3rd (non-Federal holiday) Friday of 2016 -- and (e-gads!) second in 3 weeks).  All apologies.

Instead I will be at the inaugural Mondo music conference and festival...on stage pretending to be smart speaking to a room full of people who paid money to be there.  Nervous? Who? Me?!?

Actually I am quite looking forward to chatting with my fellow panelists Steve Theo of Pirate! Promotions, Eva Papp of Spinitron, and Jeff Abrams of Radio Free America.

480 Minutes will be on the air as usual beginning at 9am ET on Friday, however with your host out of the studio we will run a few different previously-aired episodes this weekend.  Theses will mostly be recent shows to maintain chart integrity, but there will also be one older edition of the show sandwiched in there.  The challenge, if you choose to accept it: stay awake through all 40 hours of reruns.  For extra credit keep your ears open for what follows those 40 hours: the rerun of this week's Fuzzy Road radio show, episode #120, before finally hitting the hay.

480 Minutes will return with an all-new episode on Friday, September 23, 2016.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone.  See ya!
