"480 Minutes" - BAGeL Radio Turns 14!

The 480 Minutes program, our live-hosted Friday marathon show highlighting all of our new playlist additions, is ready, willing, and able to usher in February.

Speaking of February, Wednesday was BAGeL Radio's 14th birthday.  The station was launched with a listener or two in attendance on 2/1/2003 while Dubyah and Co. were busily lying to the world about Iraq having WMDs and/or ties to Al Qaeda or something.  They convinced the easily-cowed media to convince the easily-played American public that we had to launch a pre-emptive war of aggression, something I was reasonably certain was against international law.  It drove me bonkers.  So bonkers that I couldn't sleep.  For months.  During that time I needed a project beyond work, bicycling, yoga, and writing into the void about how we were being manipulated into war with the wrong country under false pretenses...that project became BAGeL Radio. So many disastrous unintended consequences from Dubyah's Illegal Invasion are still with us today...and we are one of them.

480 Minutes program begins at 9 a.m. Eastern U.S. Time and is live-hosted until 5 p.m.

For those who can't tune in during the live hosted hours the show is rebroadcast on Friday evenings beginning at 7 p.m., Saturdays at 5 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Sundays at 1 a.m. ET.
