"480 Minutes" - Only The Best People, Believe Me.

Did you know that new White House top economic advisor, Larry Kudlow, does not have a degree in economics?  This untrained fellow argued in 2002 that invading Iraq would create an economic boom in the United States.  In December 2007, while the Great Recession was beginning, Kudlow insisted “there ain’t no recession” and the “Bush boom continues.” In July 2008, seven months into that recession, Kudlow was still arguing that there was no recession or housing crisis, arguing that America was “in a mental recession, not an actual recession.”

Only the best people.

Did you know that the incoming new National Security Advisor (#3!) John Bolton is a virulent Islamophobe who fiercely advocated for the illegal immoral invasion of Iraq and as recently as last month was advocating for bombing North Korea?  He was a signatory to the Project for the New American Century "statement of principles." PNAC was the NEOCON think tank from which came many of the worst of the Bushists including Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, James Woolsey, Elliot Abrams, Donald Rumsfeld, Robert Zoellick, and of course Darth Cheney and John Bolton. It infamously published a report outlining the creation of a Pax Americana which included the statement, "Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor." Published before 9/11.

Only the best people.  Very fine people.
