"480 Minutes" - Augustus Endus

Hello and welcome to the 31st edition of 480 Minutes of 2019, our 662nd overall.

I'd like to begin by thanking all of the artists, labels, and radio promo companies that submitted house music this week. You may not call it house music, you may not think of it as house music, you may not even know what house music is, but it's fucking house music, and it's still fucking terrible unless one is on a dance floor and intoxicated (and even then it's down to how intoxicated one is). You gave me flashbacks to my time in night club management in the early 1990s, and even though many of those nights my ears were mercilessly and endlessly bombarded with this garbage, some of the memories of that time are quite pleasant. Also,  a Deee-Lite song surprisingly appeared in the review queue, likely from a forthcoming Deee-Lite greatest hits CD-single. Anyway, thanks for the memories, and thanks for making it easy to skip ahead skip ahead ship ahead holy shit I get to skip ahead again already to the next release in the queue.

Oh, and to those who submitted fifth and sixth generation country music: mlm.

480 Minutes is live-hosted from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Eastern U.S. Time and is followed by 2 hours of uninterrupted music. The show is then rebroadcast in it's entirety beginning at 7 p.m., then again on Saturday at 5 a.m. and 3 p.m., and one final time on Sunday at 1 a.m., followed by a rebroadcast of this week's Fuzzy Road radio show at 11 a.m. and then a couple of old 480 Minutes episodes from this week in past years, making for hosted shows all weekend long.
