We have been getting so many neo-psychedelic rock records lately it’s like the genre has been recently discovered by a whole new generation. Unfortunately there is a fine line between the brilliance of early Tame Impala & sounds you might have heard on an episode The Love Boat. That’s a line of which many, not all, but many, seem to be blissfully unaware. Diving through this week’s piles of submissions wasn’t fun but it wasn’t quite JIGOKU, either, yielding several gems including some pristine shoe gaze.
