The RNC has been a locus of lies. Not exactly news, I know, but the extent & consistency of the lies has been jarring.
When someone who previously referred to Trump as “cultural heroin” & “ America’s Hitler” becomes his nominee for Vice President, it makes one wonder about this simulation we’re in. After watching these liars & grifters (& former “Never Trumpers”) say over-the-top glowing things about the felon that even he probably doesn’t believe it makes me wonder if this is less Manchurian Candidate & more Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
Another jarring moment was the cognitive dissonance all of the old white people proudly waving hateful pre-made “MASS DEPORTATION NOW!” signs as the VP nominee was introduced to the crowd by his Hindu, vegetarian, daughter of Indian immigrants wife.
In other less-than-ideal news I cracked a molar last night & may have to jet to a dentist or other medical professional at some point today.
