“480 Minutes” - Vaccines Work
A big reason reason all photos we have of rows of Polio-stricken kids imprisoned in iron lungs are black & white: vaccines work.
In the face of a measles outbreak in Texas, pro-polio pinhead (PPP) & Trump health secretary RFK Jr. has not called for the unvaccinated to get vaccinated. Chief PPP’s Fox News editorial included some of the right words but fell well short of what is required from the health secretary (hint: ENCOURAGE VACCINATIONS). This intentional dereliction of duty by a (to be polite) “vaccine sceptic” in the top level of the Trump administration will absolutely result in further spread, suffering, hospitalizations, complications, & deaths from a disease which vaccines had basically eradicated before the PPP movement began reversing progress.
In an example of the anti-science creep into the federal government, the CDC website now contains a press release suggesting the use of Vitamin A for measles victims & those at risk. The actual scientific recommendation suggests a small amount of Vitamin A in conjunction with 2 doses of the vaccine to provide supportive care. The document omits the part about full vaccination & fails to mention that large doses of Vitamin A can be extremely harmful.
