“480 Minutes” - Tariff, Don’t Like It
Care to listen to how Republicans spoke about tariffs before they tithed their souls to Trump?
I don’t know about you but I learned that blanket tariffs are bad from Ferris Bueller’s high school economics teacher.
Did you notice that Russia, North Korea, Belarus, & Cuba were not on the tariffs list?
Did you notice that islands lacking humans were included on the tariffs list?
It will be interesting to see how this latest act of economic stupdity affects the prices of the products we “sell” (which are less like sales than gifts given in exchange for donations) in our store.
In other news the Texas measles outbreak continues to spread within & outside of Texas. Trump’s tiny hand-chosen vaccine-skeptic Department of Health & Human Services Secretary still hasn’t publicly said the words, “protect your children & their friends by vaccinating them.” Apparently the administration wants infectious diseases to inflict pain, suffering, long-term complications, & death on Americans by rescinding BILLIONS in health grants states had relied on for years to fight infectious disease, provide treatment for mental health & addiction, & other health services. Oh, yeah, & the Health Secretary fired about ten thousand his department only to have to say, “Oopsie!” & beg some of those fired without cause to return to work.
So much of objective reality is being distorted beyong recognition every single day it’s getting hard to decide on new objective reality messages to share.
