“480 Minutes” - April Again?

It’s April again. It feels wrong…& not just because my Islanders will be missing the NHL playoffs for the first time in a while. Since the lockdowns of 2020 it’s become increasingly difficult to keep track of time…everything that happened 2 years ago seems at once like ancient history & also like “no way that was 2 whole years ago.” It’s really kind of messed up & because we are dealing with things like a global climate crisis, a war of aggression in Europe, & full-frontal attacks on democracy the world over, who has time to deal with just how messed up that is? But…first things first. Mental health takes a back seat when, as Juliana Hatfield so keenly put it, “the whole world is controlled by fascist blood-sucking thugs.”
