“480 Minutes” - The Assault On 500+ Years of Human Progress Must Be Stopped
Since my first pro-choice march in 1989 I’ve been told that statements like the subject of this post are hyperbole because politicians pushing a regressive agenda including forced birth would never win, Americans wouldn’t vote for their rights to be taken away. Well, guess what? The U.S. is collectively so misinformed, apathetic, fearful, hateful, & incapable of critical thought that we are mere historical moments from the regressive monsters of the Heritage Foundation types realizing their fever dreams of reversing the Age of Enlightenment.
Federal legislation to stop this insane, destructive mad dash toward witch-burning oblivion is required posthaste as “too late” is nearly upon us. President Biden now has no alternative but to expand the Supreme Court to blunt the power of the lying illegitimate high court majority appointed by presidents who barely snuck into office without so much as winning the popular vote. Justice Alito’s draft makes no sense, repeatedly contradicts itself, & presents 18th century human hierarchy (you know, back when the majority of women had no rights at all) as something which should be paramount in our laws. In 2022.
If the Christo-Fascist monsters get their way they will undo every civil rights advancement ever made leaving only straight white Christian men with inalienable rights. They stole the court. They are restricting voting. They are preparing to re-use The Big Lie to fight every election they lose. They have millions of foot soldiers who worship a criminal pussy-grabbing imbecile.
This is how great nations fall. This is how holocausts begin.
