Tune in to BAGeL Radio this Friday 12/16 to hear our top songs of 2022 as we feature the top songs of the year all day long — catch up on the year in indie rock noise pop in one day!
Year-end list creation is more sorcery than science, more grandma’s “a pinch of this & a dollop of that” recipe than, say, your pharmacist compounding your medication, so as always some worthy songs will not get their due & others will unfairly fall through the cracks entirely…this is, sadly, the nature of the beast.
The year-end top music show is always a lot of fun, & with our BAGeL Bingo game to play along with, it is sure to be a blast once again. If you haven't downloaded your bingo card yet, hurry over to:

Download the card, fill it out with the names of the 24 songs (& corresponding artists) you expect to be in our top 50 countdown, then check them off as we go. If you want to be considered for the grand prize (bragging rights & a t-shirt) you must submit your completed card via e-mail by 11:59 p.m. ET Thursday 12/15/22. Yes, that’s very soon, but before you bitch please know that multiple cards have already been submitted…you slacker, you!
The top songs of the year countdown will begin with song #50 at 11 a.m. Eastern U.S. Time. We should reach the top 10 at around 1:45 p.m. & finish up around 2:15 p.m. The rest of the show will consist of our 150 or so other favorite songs of the year including some of our favorite 2022 cover versions sprinkled throughout.
For this edition the show is extended to 12-hours, running initially from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. ET. Rebroadcasts will begin 2 hours later than usual & start up again every 12 hours on the 9s over the weekend…that is to say the show will be rebroadcast Friday starting at 9:00 p.m., twice on Saturday 12/17 (9 a.m. & 9 p.m.) & twice on Sunday 12/18 (9 a.m. & 9 p.m.).
Get a head start on making 2023 all it can be — import our program schedule into your favorite calendar program to ensure you don’t miss a live-hosted show or rerun in 2023. Added bonus: the start times will be converted to your time zone!
