“480 Minutes” - Ending U.S. Democracy As An Official Act
Yesterday it seemed like a majority of the Supreme Court went along with an argument suggesting that a coup attempt could be considered an official act when a sitting president does it, kinda like when that famous crook, Rochard M. Nixon said into a television camera, “Well, when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal." One of them went so far as to suggest that Gerald Ford’s pardon of Nixon is now seen as a good thing instead of the start of the slippery slope toward this dangeously insane “presidential immunity” nonsense.
It was argued before the Supreme Court of the United States that a military coup undertaken to end U.S. democracy could somehow be considered an official act & the Leonard Leo Six were down with that.
When all is said & done Chief Justice John Roberts & former Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell will be rightly vilified in history books as smoldering piles of acrid spineless democracy-destroying chaos-enabling poo. That is, if Trump isn’t allowed to bullshit his way back into the White House.
But I digress…
