2 BAGeL Radio Events This Week...

...Let's get ready to BAGeL!

First there's The Rumble on Wednesday, then there's the BAGeL Radio Half Dozenth Birthday Party on Saturday.

February 4th is the first Wednesday of the month and that means THE RUMBLE: SAN FRANCISCO at Harlot.

This month we have a lot of special guests such as THE BAY AREA ROLLER GIRLS, who will kick off their season at The Rumble. Equally out of control and dangerous will be the live performance by LA's THE RINGERS, a band that throws furniture out of hotel room windows because their M&M's aren't the right colors. Think "Panama" era VAN HALEN meets IGGY & THE STOOGES and you're getting close.

On the flip side of the bill is the infectious, fun, San Francisco band that dares-you-to-not-dance, MUSIC FOR ANIMALS.

DJ OMAR of POPSCENE will join me (BAGeL Radio) on the turntables.

We'll also be giving away FREE VESTALIFE "Ladybug" iPod docking stations to select lucky party goers.

Then on Saturday February 7th the little station that could turns six years old -- join us at BOTTOM OF THE HILL (1233 17th Street @ Missouri, SF) to celebrate. The show will feature live performances by BAGeL Radio faves BIRDMONSTER (who are always awesome live), the SF music export that's about to conquer Europe and then quite naturally the world: RAILCARS, and one-man band extraordinaire, RICKY LEE ROBINSON (think garage rock with Motown seasoning), plus guest DJ Cory of ABSOLUTELY KOSHER RECORDS and free cupcakes.

The birthday event is 18+, tickets are $10 (and you can buy them in advance without incurring any fees HERE), and you can win tickets by getting in touch when you hear BIRDMONSTER, RAILCARS, or RICKY LEE ROBINSON during this Friday's edition of "480 Minutes" on BAGeL Radio. No presents, please, only your presence is requested.
