“480 Minutes” - Opening Day
It’s baseball season! OK, now that we’ve gotten the good news about of the way…
Some will recall that towards the end of the 2016 election, after congressional Republicans tried & failed repeatedly to “repeal & replace” Obamacare, after they tried & failed repeatedly to turn the deaths of 4 soldiers into a scandal for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi!), then-candidate Donald Trump convinced his sheep that his political rival deserved for being in jail for using a private e-mail server. The chants were as disgusting as they were ludicrous. Now, after most of Trump’s cabinet not only used an open-source messaging app to discuss top secret military action before it happened but shared secret & top secret information in said messaging app, they included in the group chat a civilian who should never have been privy to that information.
No apologies have been given, & despite a weak mea culpa from the genius who started the thread no one has lost their job over this, even though this is far, far worse than what they wanted to incarcerate the e-mail lady for. This is standard operating procedure for the Uniformity, Inequity, & Exclusion administration where a cabinet full of sycophants unqualified for their jobs can put our military at risk while circumventing the Federal Records Act (amongst other laws concerning how officials are allowed to conduct official business) so there could be no record of their conversations.
In this case their post-scandal hubris & lies blew up on them as they claimed the contents of the chat were not classified or top secret, allowing the civilian to post w/o fear of repercussions the full contents of the chat showing that classified and/or top secret details were revealed by our new Secretary of Defense. It also revealed that other senior sycophants unqualified for their jobs (aka Trump administration officials) also lied about the nature of the contents of the chat. That list includes Trump’s Secretaries of State, Defense, & Treasury; Trump’s Vice President; Trump’s CIA Director; Trump’s Chief of Staff & her deputy; Trump’s White House envoy & his deputy; Trump’s National Security Advisor who created the group & later said, "We've got the best technical minds looking at how this happened," as if this might not be case of utter incompetence but perhaps some deep dark technological mystery. “Only the best people.”

The measles outbreak has now spread beyond Texas to Ohio, Oklahoma, New Mexico, & Kansas. As predicted here weeks ago, some hospitalized measles patients in Texas are showing up with Vitamin A toxicity. In Lubbock, TX, near where the outbreak started, Covenant Children’s Hospital reports that several patients have been found to have abnormal liver function, a sign that they may have been fed too much Vitamin A by their misinformed parents thanks in part to public statements made & not made by Trump’s anti-vaccine activist Secretary of Health & Human Services. Oh, & because there is no bottom when it comes to this Administration’s disregard for the life, health, & livelihoods of Americans, DHS funding that could be used combat the outbreak in Texas is being cut by D’ohge, the weapon deployed by Trump to incapacitate most of the federal government.
