"480 Minutes" - Too Lazy To Rule
This weeks a bunch of #Cult45 members in Michigan blocked traffic, including ambulances, to show their fealty to dear leader and to protest their rights being taken away by the governor's stay at home order. I am thankful for is that for all of his authoritarian tendencies, #Individual1 is just too fucking stupid, weak, and lazy to actually be an authoritarian. Dude went from off-the-rails ranting "I have total authority!" to "(dear governors), you are going to call your own shots" in barely more time than it takes to thoroughly wash ones hands.
Meanwhile this theory being floated of lifting stay-at-home orders early in states less affected by the virus has two major flaws. First, just because they are less affected now does not mean they will remain so. Second, when the more desperate of the tens of millions of Americans who don't qualify for unemployment insurance (plus additional millions who are collecting but know their job no longer exists) see that the state next door is about to lift their stay-at-home orders early, what do you think they are going to do? They are going to migrate to the early-open states seeking employment, and some are going to bring coronavirus with them, which brings us back to the first point.
Today's show will be live-hosted from 9am-5pm Eastern U.S. Time and feature new music by Annie Hamilton (Sydney, Australia, @anniehamilton_), Moaning (Los Angeles, CA, @moaningmusic), Alison Mosshart (The Kills), and The Pack A.D. (Vancouver, BC, @therealpackad).
The marathon 8-hour show is followed by 2 hours of uninterrupted music and is then rebroadcast in its entirety beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, and one final time at 1 a.m. on Sunday. That is followed by a rebroadcast of a Fuzzy Road radio show at 11 a.m. and then a couple of old 480 Minutes episodes from this week in past years, making for hosted shows all weekend long.
